
TASTE ... I absolutely love different flavours. I have been privileged to grow up in a home where food was cooked from scratch and had a place in the kitchen from an early age. Kitchens are a fun place in my book! A place to wind down and get creative. I believe we can & need to make choices to go for natural options of cooking and eating. The less additives and low-sugar or low-fat or whatever-free the better. Many of of us have the option to make such choices. Fresh is best and locally sourced is always a bonus. You'll usually find an accompanying salad of some description on my table at meal times, bar breakfast. I'm passionate about trying and experimenting with different cuisines. My natural lean-to would probably be a Mediterranean style of cooking (Italian or Greek mainly) but I have an affinity to Japanese food and flavours and have come to love Middle-Eastern, Indian and Thai food. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favourite.

I believe that collectively we can become a healthier and happier people on this planet. We need to take more responsibility (by and large) for our well-being. This can and would markedly reduce the impact and burden on healthcare services not to mention the environment and make our lives more enjoyable.

I'm a meat, fish, egg, diary, wheat, veg and dessert eater. Definitely also a coffee drinker but I do believe and the scientific evidence points towards the benefits of not eating too much meat, diary or sugar and having lots of fresh and raw food.
In a time where fad-diets and ways of eating are common place, we can get side-tracked and confused. Unless there is a medical reason, excluding naturally based food types is unnecessary in my opinion.
